TONS of Naruko Skincare Samples: Speed Reviews

{All Naruko Skincare Samples were Provided for Review by Naruko USA}

If you’ve been following this blog for awhile, you’ll know I’m a huge fan of Naruko skincare. Their favorite products are the night jellies that they offer, but they also have various lines of skincare for different skin types, issues and concerns and I was lucky this past winter/ spring season to be able to test out a few of them for a few months.

Here’s a look at everything I received for review. Naruko has been super generous to me and I couldn’t be more grateful to have the opportunity to try more of their products because they are a brand that I would purchase from no matter what. If you’re unfamiliar with this brand, Naruko is a Taiwanese beauty brand that mainly offer a variety of skincare products for all your skin concerns including acne, dry skin, discoloration or pigmentation, and more. The brand is known for selling products that are naturally effective and include a variety of all natural ingredients combined with some scientific research to ensure the best results for your skin.

Rose & Botanic HA Aqua Cubic Hydrating Cream

The first item I tested out was their Rose & Botanic HA Aqua Cubic Hydrating Cream. It comes in an air tight plastic container which dispenses the perfect amount of cream out of a hole in it’s center when you press down on the top. It’s really sanitary and effective way to keep your cream clean as well as keep it from oxidation which will make ingredients less effective over time so I really like the packaging for it’s practical function. Aside from the packaging, this is a great cream for those with dry skin or combination skin who are dry in the winter or spring seasons. I got really super dry skin this past winter and this was a really nice cream to keep my skin from dehydration.

Rose & Botanic HA Aqua Cubic Hydrating Mask

I absolutely love sheet masks! They are super easy to use, effective and very mess-free. They come in rectangle envelopes with face shaped cotton masks that are pre-soaked in the mask ingredients so you literally just pull them out, place them on your face and relax for 10-15. A lot of them don’t even need to be rinsed off, though you can if you’d prefer to. This one is super hydrating and softening.

Rose & Botanic HA Aqua Cubic Foaming Wash

This face wash was hit and miss for me. On the one hand, I really enjoyed the gratifying peeling that happened when I used it. It basically lathers up really nicely and when you massage it onto your skin, it starts to peel the dead skin off your face to reveal brighter skin beneath and you can literally see the skin coming off in little pieces. It’s not painful and there’s very little to no abrasion going on so it’s done more chemically than anything. It doesn’t feel like a face scrub much at all so, if you’re not into scrubs, this doesn’t feel like that. Instead, it just massages dead skin off your face and reveals new skin after. I really liked the peeling bit of this face wash, but as for treating dryness, it was not nearly as much hydration as I wanted and needed in a winter cleanser. I actually think face balms work much better for me than this, which I found to be brightening, but still a bit drying. It may work better for others, but for me, it didn’t hydrate enough. This might be great for those who battle oily skin, but also have dryness.

Tea Tree Oil Out Peeling Gel

This is another peeling type product that’s super fun to use. It does feel more like a scrub as it has tiny little beads in the formula, but they aren’t rough at all to use. To use this, you apply a small amount to skin and massage it around your face gently (avoiding eye area) for a minute or so. You will see small pieces of skin come off in the same way as the face wash and you need to rinse after using this to get all the little pieces completely off. I liked this better than the face wash, but it still didn’t hydrate my skin enough. I really just enough the scent of the Naruko tea tree products, to be honest. This is a great one for acne prone skin types.

Rose & Snow Fungus Classic Hydrating Night Eye Gelly

This hydrating night eye jelly is perfect for under the eyes. It’s super thick and goopy feeling, but it will soak in completely within an hour so that does go away eventually. It really does hydrate the eye area and protect it nicely. It didn’t cause breakouts on my skin at all so that’s a great bonus for those who have dry under eyes, but experience eye sensitivity and acne, because it’s very hydrating without being heavy or causing irritation.

Rose & Snow Fungus Classic Hydrating Night Gelly

Although this hasn’t taken the place of my favorite night jelly, it’s still a really lovely Night Jelly and it’s especially beneficial for dry skin types or those currently experiencing dryness. It has a really lovely, yet subtle rose scent and feels hydrating, but light on the skin.

AMPM Super Triple HA Skin Hydrator Seru

AMPM Super Triple HA Skin Hydrator

This very hydrating, yet light serum has a high concentration of B vitamins and hyaluronic acid to help hydrate, plump, and soothe skin. I really like how light this serum is, despite the fact that it’s very moisturizing. I think this is perfect for combination and oily skin types who have trouble finding serums that both hydrate the skin and are not super heavy. This is a great one for those who have trouble with heavier moisturizers, but still want a hydrating serum to use.

Facial White Illuminating Cotton Pads

The last item I received is this box of texturized cotton pads that are unique to Naruko. They are dual sided with one side being very smooth and one side being cross-hatched for gently buffing the skin. These are fantastic to use with facial toners or to remove makeup because the cross-hatched side really buffs the skin clean and gently exfoliates while the smooth side polishes and smooths the surface. I really saw a huge difference in my skin with using these alongside a toner and I definitely think they’re worth the little extra cost.

Overall, these products from Naruko, unsurprisingly, were really awesome. They all work really well at hydrating the skin and putting some life into otherwise dry skin cells. I definitely had an issue with dryness this past season and these products all helped a lot. I don’t think there was anything I really loved out of this bunch, but they’re all pretty solid as good skincare choices in my book. I don’t think I’d use them in the Summer time really as my skin can’t really handle it and prefers oils to lotions. I know that sounds weird and backward, but that’s how my skin is. If I had to pick favorites, I would choose the Night Eye Jelly, the Tea Tree Peeling Gel and the Cotton Pads, but these are all worth a look if hydration is what you need so definitely give them a look!

Skin Owl Argan Infusions

Back in late February, I wrote this post introducing Annie Tevelin, AKA the Skin Owl, and interviewing her on her lovely line of minimal, but nonetheless effective Skin Owl Argan Infusions. I’ve been testing out 3 samples that she sent me, 1 of each type of Argan Infusion available, of these lovely skin treatments and I’m happy to report back that these are just as awesome as they sound!

First off, they come in 3 different variations – Lavender, Clary Sage and Geranium. Although they are said to be suited for all skin types, each has a focus. For instance, lavender is said to be most beneficial for sensitive, oily, and acne prone skin while clary sage is said to be best for dry, mature skin types. Geranium is said to be best for combination skin types and those battling dullness. That being said, they are all safe for use on all skin types and I can attest to that because I’ve used all 3 of them on my sensitive, acne prone, combination skin with lovely results.

Argan Infusion: Lavender

They all come in lovely, yet simple dropper bottles and each has a different, but pleasant scent. My favorite is the lavender because I find it really relaxing and I got the best results with it, given it’s most recommended for my skin type. That being said, the others worked well also, but the results were less noticeable.

These all absorb almost immediately into the skin, leaving no residue behind, though a slight after thought of their given scents remain for a bit then fade after 30 or so minutes. Overnight, the results are pretty noticeable. Acne looks calmer and more diminished, redness and pigmentation look more calm and even which gives the skin more clarity, and the skin just looks much better on the whole.

One thing I will say is that if you have very dry skin, I would recommend this be used in conjunction with a more intense moisturizer or balm like Suti’s Organic Purity Balm or something as this is not moisturizing enough, in my opinion, for dry patches. I do think it’s plenty enough for combination to oily skin types, though, especially in Spring and Summer months. For dry skin types or in the Winter if you’ve experienced patchiness, you will need to layer a cream or balm over this. That being said, the results will still be apparent as I’ve used these both alone on the skin and underneath a skin balm with the same results.

Aside from use on the face, this can also be used to treat dryness  on the body, decollete and hands, though, again, you may need to layer a heavier balm if you’re battling serious dryness. For simple things like elbow patchiness, though, this will do fine alone. I had the best results with the Geranium Argan Infusion for skin dryness, but I think any one of these would work well. I also used the Clary Sage Argan Infusion on the ends of my hair which helped tame some flyaways really nicely and on the bottom of my feet. No idea if it had much effect on my feet, but the scent and feeling of it was nice and relaxing before bed! You’ll likely get best results on your feet is you apply a few drops and then put on socks before bedtime. I also used the Lavender Argan Infusion to heal some little cuts and a small oven burn I’d gotten on my hands and it really helped them to heal and diminish a LOT faster than if left to heal in their own time.

Overall, these Argan Infusions work superbly {yep I said that} and I’d highly recommend them to anyone and everyone who has skin concerns that need tending to – these are just the treatments to get the job done!

What Are Your Thoughts On These?

I’d Love to Know in the Comments!

I was recently sent a sample of this Intensive-C® Vitamin C Face Radiance Peel by Murad Skincare from The Beauty Box, a lovely online beauty retailer, which sells a number of popular and unique niche indie beauty products at great prices. I really love the site’s wishlist function which, once you set up an account, allows you to save the products you want to a wish list for later. I’m kind of obsessed with wish lists because they’re handy for keeping track of all the things I want, especially when it comes to beauty things.

Anyway, I was super excited to try this out as I’ve been praising Dr. Murad and his skin philosphies on this blog since the early days. If you weren’t with us yet, do check out this post and this post to learn more about Dr. Howard Murad’s awesome views on beauty and health. Otherwise, try out this delicious smoothie recipe from his book.

So, since receiving this from the lovely ladies of The Beauty Box a few weeks ago, I’ve tested it out several times and I am really happy to report back to you that this face peel works really well and surprisingly fast. It comes out of the squeeze tube easily enough and you can control how much comes out given it’s in a tube which I really like as I hate to waste product. It looks pretty much like a face lotion and you apply a thin layer to your face after cleansing. Then, you leave it on for up to 10 minutes and rinse off with a warm wash cloth. The feel of this isn’t nearly as noticeable as the Liquid Gold from Alpha-H which has a noticeable tingle to it. I don’t know if this will offer similar long term results to that, but it’s certainly a more gentle option for those who can’t bear the tingle of Alpha-H’s glycolic acid products. If you prefer a more natural peel option, check here.

This peel, as many of the products in the Intensive-C® line from Murad, utilizes a number of beneficial ingredients for the skin including glycolic acid and vitamin C which work to slough off dead skin cells and fight off free radical damage brought on by stress, pollution and UV rays to reveal a brighter, healthier complexion. They also utilize a variety of natural essential oils, plant extracts, clays and amino acids to help heal and encourage cell turnover and collagen production.

The difference between before and after using this is like night and day for me. I tried it a few weeks ago, for the first time, not thinking it’d be too effective, but I was really surprised that the effects seemed so immediately noticeable on my skin. After I rinsed the peel off, my skin looked instantly brighter, clearer, and felt softer and smoother. I’m not sure how they’re doing it all, but it really does work time and again as I’ve now used it several times and can attest to the consistent results this delivers. Not only that, but I do think it has actually improved my skin for the better and would certainly recommend it to those battling dullness, acne scarring or hyperpigmentation or brown spots, and other discoloration. Although I wish this was a more natural formula, the results are undeniable.

You can check this peel out at The Beauty Box – here.

Annie Tevelin – the Skin Owl

SkinOwl

I recently discovered a new beauty brand called SkinOwl – a beauty brand created by the Skin Owl herself, Annie Tevelin. After years of working in the beauty industry and experiencing the empty promises of many over priced and often ineffective cosmetic brands, the Skin Owl (Annie’s alter ego)  was created as a way to fight off Annie’s skin problems in a natural, yet effective way that was affordable, honest and simple. The goal is for SkinOwl to be a voice of truth in the beauty industry. I was very lucky to be able to pick the Skin Owl’s brain and share a bit of her brilliance and philosophy on beauty – Read on for my interview with her!

Argan Infusion: Lavender

Argan Infusion: Lavender

How did you first get into beauty?

I was so enthralled with skincare and makeup as a child. Every time I went shopping with my mother I would wander off to the cosmetics department. The women were so pretty, so put together. They were my first beauty mentors. I would go from counter to counter asking for tips and tricks and I was no more than 10! I was a sponge, taking everything in at such a young age. All the colors and textures. I was enamored. I’m convinced makeup taught me what color was way before Crayola. It wasn’t until I turned 25 that I decided to change careers and take a risk on a long-lost dream.

When did you create your alter ego, the Skin Owl, and what is the meaning behind the name itself?

SkinOwl was created in 2011 and was born to fill a void in the cosmetics industry. Like many of my clients, I spent a lot of money on products and treatments that didn’t work. Dermatologists cost me a lot of money and most of what they prescribed irritated my skin in the long run. When I thought about all of the women who might feel overwhelmed or lost when shopping for products, and with so many products available to them, I knew I had something to offer them with my experience. It just made sense for me to help people the best I could to look and feel their most beautiful. SkinOwl defines beautiful skin, wisdom, and truth as one entity.

Argan Infusion: Clary Sage

I’ve done a bit of reading about your products and I know that they include what you call the Argan Infusion. What exactly is the Argan Infusion and why is it so beneficial to skin?

Argan Infusion is a luxurious facial oil that can be used as a treatment or moisturizer on the face, nails and body. It comes in three infusions, Lavender, Geranium, and Clary Sage, each of which cater to different skin concerns. I’m not interested in creating “fluffy” products. I only want to offer healthy ingredients in products that work & Argan Infusion is a prime example of that. The anti-inflammatory properties are noticed after one day. The skin’s luminosity and radiance is restored in less than a week. And within a month, most people claim that they’ve never seen their skin look so youthful and balanced. It’s exciting to watch!

Argan Infusion: Geranium

Why is beauty integrity so important to you, not only as a person, but as a brand?
Integrity is the most important thing a person can have. It makes or breaks a person’s character. I’ve always wanted my personal life to mirror my professional life. I can’t imagine seeking a healthy lifestyle, having a positive outlook, and trying to achieve balance in my personal life without wanting the same for my company. SkinOwl has allowed me take what I find important and apply it elsewhere, so that it hopefully brings out the best in others.
And finally, please describe your idea of true beauty in one word or phrase.
“True beauty has nothing to hide. Feeling beautiful, not looking beautiful, is the key. “
– the Skin Owl

Thanks so much to the Skin Owl for her lovely and honest interview!

Max Green Alchemy Skin Rescue Blooming Bath Oil
Dry winter skin can really suck, especially when it’s coupled with irritation, redness, and flakiness, which is most of the time if not all. To keep my skin looking plump, hydrated and calm, I’ve taken to drawing up warm baths a few times a week and using this incredibly soothing bath oil by Max Green Alchemy – the Skin Rescue Blooming Bath Oil.

I’ve written a bit about Max Green Alchemy as I really love many, if not all, of their products. They are brilliant and made with organic, cruelty free, and wild crafted plant ingredients which seek to heal the skin from inside out and pretty much succeed in that effort, if you ask me. So, after reviewing this bath oil for about a month, it’s not really a surprise that I’d love this one too!

The scent of this bath oil is AMAZING and it really does soothe irritated and/or dry skin. The scent of it is exactly the same as their Skin Rescue Cream which I reviewed awhile back ( you can see that review – here ) and works just as well at calming skin inflammation as the cream, except without the added hydration you get from the cream. I get extremely dry skin come winter time and that dryness can easily turn into irritated, chapped skin which is not just horrible to look at, it can also be painful. This bath oil has helped me avoid that situation altogether and I am SO thankful!

Aside from being extremely effective at calming and hydrating skin, this bath oil is seriously relaxing. It smells incredible and the oil itself actually dissolves into the water rather than sitting on top of it like most oils do so it really envelops your skin in a cocoon of hydrating oil-infused bath water.

Lastly, one of my favorite things about this product ( and Max Green Alchemy products, in general ) is that fact that not only is this product effective, luxurious, and pleasant to use, but it also has an excellent ethical foundation to stand on. The ingredients are great, natural, cruelty free and the formulation leaves out typical nasties which can cause environmental or bodily harm so it’s really a product I can stand behind and I love that.

More Reasons to Love this Skin Rescue Blooming Bath Oil:

•” Pure organic botanic and essential oils calm, soothe and moisturize skin
• Supports the treatment of psoriasis, dermatitis and eczema
• Unique formula blends with bath water to infuse into skin
• Won’t leave nasty oil residue on the tub
• Steroid-free, paraben-free, petrochemical-free, GMO-free, lanolin-free, polysorbate-free, cruelty-free
• Enchanting non-medicinal aroma of organic chamomile and neroli
• Contains many certified organic ingredients
• 100% plant origin”

Today I’m reviewing a lovely natural loose powder foundation by Priori Skincare.

This natural foundation utilizes seriously minimalist, but awesomely natural ingredients: natural minerals from the earth (iron oxides, zinc oxide, mica), natural coffeeberry extract, and that’s it! There’s no harmful, pore-clogging talc included in the formula so this powder foundation is super gentle. The added benefits of coffeeberry include brightening, softening of fine lines and potent protection from free radical environmental damage to the skin. Aside from that, another cool feature of this product is that the powder is packaged in biodegradable plant plastics which I think is pretty fantastic!

Here Are Some Awesome Features of This Foundation Powder:

  • 100% Natural Minerals
  • Anti-Aging.
  • Highest, natural free-radical protection with CoffeeBerry® extract
  • Broad Spectrum UV Protection: SPF 25, UVA 10, PA+++
  • Skin Cancer Foundation seal ofrecommendation
  • Earth conscious, Eco friendly, Environmentally safe
  • Eco-friendly packaging made from biodegradable plant plastics
  • Paraben Free
  • Clinically tested
  • No animal testing
  • No animal derived ingredients
  • Eco-friendly, cruelty free brushes
  • Non-Comedogenic
  • Non-Acnegenic

Packaging: The packaging is quite nice. The box it comes in is sleek and earth friendly, while the powder sifter itself is a smooth sleek plastic. You get a seriously good amount of powder so I really think there is a lot of good value there. The powder brush that comes with this foundation is horrible. It feels cheap, synthetic (not in a good way though), and doesn’t hold powder well. I binned it.

Product Effectiveness: I really enjoyed this powder foundation! It has quality ingredients that are gentle and protective on the skin while excluding those that might harm or irritate it. It also has a nice amount of coverage and a decent soft finish to it. The only thing I really didn’t like about this powder is the fact that even though I received the lightest shade, it was still pretty dark. It actually worked for me for awhile given I had a mini tan from Summer still, but now that my skin is going back to its usual paleness, this is simply too dark. I think it’s a great option for Summer or if you happen to be darker in skin tone, this would be a nice option. For Winter, I’ll be going back to my usual Alima Pure. Other than that, I do like that this didn’t break me out nor did it irritate my skin in any way. I love that it includes a natural sunscreen within the formula so I can be a little more lax on my sunscreen application and that it includes coffeeberry to protect my skin from premature aging.

Overall: This is a really decent powder foundation. The finish is a nice, soft and velvety one and it gives really decent amount of coverage. I would say it’s medium to full coverage, actually, and that’s great as it’s hard to come by in a powder foundation. Personally, the lack of shades for lighter skin tones put me off a bit, but I do think the quality of ingredients and the eco friendly green approach in their packaging is fantastic and, if you’re in the mid to darker shade of skin tone, definitely worth a try.

Acai Anti-Oxidant Cleansing Creme

Beauty minimalism is something seldom sought after by those who buy beauty products, but for those who want a more natural, yet simple way for beauty, Bambola Beauty may be the answer!

Although not organic, they have all natural skincare formulated products at decent prices.

I had the pleasure of receiving 2 small samples from them; their Acai Cleansing Creme and their Lip Repair Balm.

Their Acai Cleansing Creme is really nourishing, softening and gentle. They include no surfactants so there is no foaming action, but it cleanses your skin really well without stripping it of natural oils. Included in it’s formula are nourishing sunflower oil and brightening mandarin oil, lemon juice extract, and acai extract for vibrant, healthy skin. I really love this cleansing creme for removing makeup! I think if you have normal skin, you may be able to skip a moisturizer using this; it’s that hydrating. I would recommend this one more for normal to dry skin types and maybe combination in cold winter. It’s great at removing makeup for me, but it’s so hot right now that it makes me far too oily to use in the Summer. Actually, for me to solely use this as a cleanser, it would need to be super windy and cold otherwise I just could not do it. That doesn’t make it bad; just not right for my skin type, though I think it would be heavenly for those with dry, mature skin or normal skin. Someone with combination to dry may also benefit in the fall/winter.

I also tried their Lip Repair Balm which comes in a simple chap stick tube and features a very simple list of ingredients: Beeswax, Coconut, Olive Oil, Castor Oil, Honey, Real Vanilla, Stevia. I really love that the ingredient list is short and simple and this lip balm works really well! It’s very nourishing, has a sweet subtle scent and flavor, and it’s easily absorbed into the lips. I feel like it literally melts into my skin. I’ve been using it on and off for a few months and it’s really helped keep my lips hydrated. I highly recommend this one, though I think $9 for it is a bit steep.

Overall, I really love how simple this brand is. It’s the modern furniture for Beauty in my mind and it takes all the steps of natural beauty and makes them simple and straightforward. Although I think their products are a bit expensive, I do like that they are natural and that’s something I can appreciate. I think this will especially benefit those who don’t want something complicated, but still want something natural that works. The look and feel is classy and conscientious.

Get Your Milk ‘Stache On With Fresh & Natural Dairyface Nourishing Facial Refreshers!

I have to admit that I’ve been meaning to post on these for awhile now, but I needed to test them all out first and experiment a bit to give the best feedback so that’s my excuse for not doing this until now and I’m sticking to it!

Anyway, these were sent for review by Dairyface and they’ve been very generous to send me samples of all of what they’re calling Nourishing Facial Refreshers, but they are seriously much more than that.

First off, they are as fresh as skincare can get in my opinion. They are composed of milk (of course) which includes loads of vitamins (A, B12, C, D & E), proteins, peptides, lactic acid, and probiotics and prebiotics to heal, calm, nourish and hydrate skin. Each NFR includes different herbs – Lavender Lovely (Lavender), Peppermint Creme (Peppermint), etc. These really just smell and look like yogurt for the most part, though there is a subtle scent of herbs underneath that as well. Since all of these are pretty much yogurt, they must be kept in the refrigerator until you’re ready to use them and they last about 1-2 months. They’re sent to you quickly in an insulated package so they stay cool and fresh. Also, although they say single use on the little containers (you receive 2 per pack), they last a lot more uses than that. I’ve seriously piled this stuff onto my face just to see how much of it I could use up and there was still a lot left in the container even after that. I would say these could last from 4 uses to 8, depending on how much of it you use at any one time.

This is me with the Peppermint Creme NFR on and I’ve seriously piled it on as much as I could, including on my neck. Below is the container after I’ve used it twice and you can see I still have a lot left.

So, each of these NFR’s has a different purpose, though they all seem generally the same in texture, feel and overall scent (yogurt). The Lavender Lovely does have an edge of subtle lavender scent and really helped to calm breakouts. If I was experiencing redness, I’ve gone and massaged it into my face for a minute before smoothing it over my face as a mask and leaving it on for 20 minutes before rinsing. Due to the lactic acid, there is some mild redness after, but it goes away within a few minutes and there’s no irritation. Just be sure to really rinse this off otherwise you will have peeling dried milk on your skin and it’s kind of annoying so yeah, rinse well.

Although each of these is really cooling and relaxing because they are kept in the fridge, the Peppermint Creme one is especially relieving and relaxing to use and has a nice minty edge to it under the usual yogurt smell which I really like. I also find this one is great for breakouts and irritation as well. I’ve also found I love any of these in hot weather because they’re like instant relief from the heat…and now I’m wishing I had one on now. They’re that relaxing. Eye Caramba is specially formulate for underneath the eyes, but I’ve used it all over my face as well with great results. This one is specifically made to tighten, lighten and smooth fine lines around your eyes, though, and I think it does have some nice effects when used for this.

The Glad Allover is an interesting one. All of these can be used on both the face and body, but this one is specifically designed as a scrub for both face and body. I did try it once and it certainly does soften the skin, hydrate and gently exfoliate. I even used it as a hair mask to really great effects, but I recommend a few things to avoid some nasty smells later. First, if you use it on only your face and body, be sure to use an alternative body wash or soap after using this. Second, if you use this as a hair mask, you will need to shampoo your hair twice and condition once really well to make sure it’s all out of your hair. This is because if you leave any residue and there’s any amount of heat or humidity (I did this test on a super hot night), you will smell like rotting milk. It was not a pleasant smell to wake up to; in fact, I immediately showered because it was so gross. I don’t want to deter you from trying this out as a hair mask or body scrub because the effects are awesome, but you really can’t go without rinsing this off a few times with another soap given the nature of the ingredients. So that’s all I’m saying.

Lastly, I tried the Green Tea Magic. Very calming, a little herbal, and just as cooling as the others, this one is also great for irritation, calm skin and the caffeine in it will plump cells and reduce puffiness.

Overall, I really love these Nourishing Facial Refreshers from Dairyface!

They are truly a nice treat for the skin! Although they cost $26.99 for 2 “single use” packs, they actually go about 4-8 uses, depending on how much you use each time. I will definitely be using and purchasing these lovelies as long as they’re available. They make my skin feel super soft, hydrated, and they really do help with breakouts, especially the ones that feel really sore. They seem to bring the swelling down on those ones. Living in a hot climate, I also love that these are kept in the fridge because they feel so relaxing and “refreshing” to use as they are really cool going on. Also, they sent me a nice insulated bag to keep these lovelies in so that they’re always super cold. These are definitely worth a look if you’re into more natural face mask and treatment options.

I had never heard of Erbaviva until recently when this was sent to me for review, but I’m really thrilled they did send it because it’s a really nice cream that is extremely softening, hydrating, nourishing, and smoothing to hands, cuticles and nails.

I’m not normally the kind of girl who would spend a lot of money on a good hand cream, but I have been searching for one for past few months as I’ve noticed my hands looking wrinkled and dry and was mildly terrified at the sight of them. LOL. So I was pretty happy when this was sent to me for review because it moisturizes really well over time, not just right when applied and then your hands go back to being dried out again in an hour. This stuff offers hydration that lasts.

USDA Certified Organic, Erbaviva offers a line of body products for babies, mommies and mommies-to-be, though anyone can use them of course. They are free from animal testing, artificial dyes and fragrances and they utilize a variety of plant, flower, herb, and fruit extracts, oils and essential oils in their formulas for all natural healing and nourishment.

Whatever their formula, it certainly is effective in this luxurious hand cream!

Not only does this smell incredible, it’s very light and a little bit spreads easily over your hands, absorbed into the skin almost instantly with no greasy residue.

I have been using this for about a month now and I notice my hands are noticeably softer, smoother, more even toned, hydrated and youthful looking.

I definitely recommend this one. Although it is a bit pricey at $16 USD, it’s a product that is certainly worth it, in my opinion, and that will last you a decent amount of time (I’ve used mine for a month and it still feels full).
