So I recently discovered Intrinsic Organics, a natural, organic and handmade line of skincare and body care products. I was sent the following products and I am officially a convert of all three of them, especially the body lotion! The first item I was able to try was the Almond and Oatmeal Sugar Body Scrub. This feels lovely scrub is gentle enough to use on my sensitive skin, but gets some great scrubbing action so that it actually is effective for body exfoliation. It smells just like almonds and oatmeal and sugar (not surprisingly), which I love, because I find it really delicious! There are no oatmeal pieces in the scrub that I could see, even though I expected there to be for some odd reason. Instead, there are sugar granules and pieces and a strong almond scent that I really like. This works really nicely to exfoliate dead skin cells off your body without feeling too abrasive, hydrates the skin and smells lovely. The only drawback of this was that ants seemed to really like it as well so it attracted a decent amount of them all around the jar (though thankfully not inside it!). So, just as a hazard or warning, if you have any hint of a tendency toward ants in the Summer, you may want to hold off on getting this til winter, otherwise, I recommend storing it in the refrigerator when you aren’t using it. The fridge bit does make the scrub even more pleasant!
The second product I was able to try was the Hydrating Bergamot Blend Body Lotion, which is seriously one of the best lotions I’ve ever encountered. This doesn’t have the soothing feel of my favorite Skin Rescue Cream, but what it does have is the impressive ability to really hydrate the skin. If your issue is not with irritation, but with combating dryness, this would certainly benefit you. It feels like a cross between a creamy cream lotion and an oil type runnier lotion, but it really doesn’t feel oily or greasy at all. It’s a bit hard to explain the texture of this suffice to say that it works, it really does. It soaks in right away and just leaves the skin looking more nourished and glowing. I absolutely love this and will definitely purchase once I run out of the sample.
The last item I was able to try was the Chocolate Mint Chapstick Lip Balm. This is a really nice lip product! It doesn’t have a tint or anything, but the hydrating abilities of this are similar to the lotion in that it just melts into the lips without being too oily or greasy. It just feels lovely on the lips and very softening. I’m normally not a fan of chocolate type lip products, but this wasn’t so overwhelmingly chocolate that it bothered. Actually, I hardly notice the chocolate mint except in scent alone; the mint I do feel a bit because this is a little cooling on the lips, but mostly just super moisturizing and awesome to use.

sounds really good!
It is really quite nice 🙂 Thanks for commenting ❤
Is it weird that those pictures are making me hungry?
Not at all! Actually the scrub certainly smells good enough to eat! x
Cool post,I really want to try the lipbalm, if I won it it could be the lip balm in my handbag survival kit 🙂 x
Thanks! Yeah actually the lip balm isn’t included in the giveaway items; only the lotion and scrub, but if you win, I will msg them and see if they can send one along just for you okay! x
aww sorry lol, being scattered brained as usual, there is no need to do that, I would be more than happy with either any of the prizes 🙂
I would love to try the body lotion, it looks so yummy… not that I would eat it 😀
haha yeah it is quite lovely
This actually is looking yum 😀
haha yep ❤
It sounds almost good enough to eat. Have you tried their skin oil, by chance?
Hmm no I haven’t. Looks pretty nice though based on the ingredients!
Do you have a favorite facial skin oil? I’ve been using Bare Minerals and I like it, but just wondering if there’s one that’s comparable and possibly organic? What do you think?
For what skin type? I’ve never tried the BM one so I can’t attest to that, but what are its functions then I can suggest a comparable alternative 🙂
I tend to have combo skin. I get oily on my forehead. The BM is a cell renewal night serum which really hydrates my skin and balances pH, which, from what I’ve heard, is good for oily skin. It seems to be doing the trick and my skin feel more bouyant, lol. Any other comparable suggestions? Thanks! 🙂
I would check out the elemeni face oil for oily skin by max green alchemy. I did a review on it awhile back. It works really well ti balance the skin and its made from all plant derived and mostly organic ingredients
Awesome!! Thanks so much!
Of course no problem at all 🙂 glad i could help
