Tammy Fender Holistic Skincare Samples – Mini Reviews!

Tammy Fender Holistic Skincare is a high end holistic skincare brand that seeks to combine the teachings of holistic medicine with beauty. With their custom blended formulations, they claim to create formulas that will balance and work along with your body as a whole, using natural botanical ingredients that strongly focus on the benefits of plant extracts.

I was recently sent lovely little foil samples of these items by Tammy Fender Holistic Skincare so I was able to try them 2 times before I ran out.

Epi-Peel with Spearmint, Rosemary & Lemongrass; 1.9 Oz ($80)

This is a white sandy sort of scrub/mask combination. It feels much like micro-dermabrasion scrubs feel actually, except this is a peel/mask type that you keep on for a few minutes while it works its magic. I really loved this peel. I love the physical action of sandy type scrubs because I love feeling like I am doing the work to slough off dead skin cells as opposed to natural chemical exfoliators where you just sit there while it does its thing. Plus, when I rinsed this off after 10 minutes, I actually felt like my skin looked a lot smoother and brighter. I’m not sure if this would really be worth $80 to me, but it works really well and the ingredients are pretty impressive.

OVERALL RATING: 9/10

Antioxidant Creme Neroli & Orange ; 1.9 Oz ($95)

This cream was really thin, but went on quite thick. When I say thick, I don’t mean heavy or even oily. It just felt like it really was covering my skin quite well. It didn’t leave any residue and sank into my skin very quickly. It also had a nice herbal scent to it which I found relaxing. I really love the consistency of this cream, but I wish the sample had been larger because I really didn’t have enough time to properly evaluate its effects. That being said, I did love what I experienced with it in the 2 ish uses.

OVERALL RATING: 8/10

Intensive Repair Balm ; 1.9 Oz. ($130)

This was much the same as the antioxidant creme only slighter thicker. It didn’t feel like a balm exactly, but it did have a thick feeling to it. It was quite strange with these creams as they felt super thick, but they were NOT heavy on the skin at all. No residue, no icky oily feeling leftover. All in all, I really liked both the Antioxidant Creme and this Repair Balm.

OVERALL RATING: 9/10

Firming Eye Gel with Elder Flower & Green Myrtle ($72)

Out of all these Tammy Fender samples, this one was my favorite. It did feel a little sticky going on, but it was a nice gel consistency and it wasn’t heavy like a lot of eye creams. Although I love the anti-aging thoughts behind eye creams, I hate how heavy many of them can be. I have oily to combination skin so heavy eye creams tend to leave little white heads and breakouts in my under eye area. This did none of that, but it immediately left my eye area looking firmer, smoother and more hydrated. I will definitely consider purchasing the full size of this item as its effects were seen pretty immediately.

OVERALL RATING: 10/10

As you can see from the prices, this brand is definitely high end luxury.

The products overall seem really great, really well formulated and the ingredients are all natural. If you can afford to try these products, I definitely recommend the Repair Balm and the Eye Gel as I felt most impressed by these two.
